I recently read a newspaper article about #religion in Sweden. The Swedes are one of the more secularized people, and religious practice is low and decreasing: those majestic churches are nearly empty, that article said, with a somewhat worried tone. And in a not-very-far future, it went on, the Church of Sweden may disappear and #islam may become the most popular religion in the country.
(I am not religious, and I don't know if I should regard that as good or bad.)
@Oct326 The islamophobia is misplaced I think. I suspect the situation is similar in Switzerland. There, it is mostly the old that go to church and I’m sure the children of current immigrants will lose their faith just as fast as previous immigrants (Italians, for example).
