@afarian If you're comfortable with vim and want something probably more convenient, you can try https://neovim.io/. But I don't have any personal experience with it. I just know that it's out there. :)

@afarian Visual Studio Code is also electron based I think, but performs much better than Atom IMO. Give it a try!
