Updated macOS this morning and it enabled HDR, destroyed my eyes

PSA: If you have a mac and an HDR monitor, do NOT update to macOS 10.5.4.

I repeat, protect your eyes and DO NOT UPDATE!

macOS Catalina 10.15.4:
- ...
- High Dynamic Range output to HDR10-compatible third-party displays and TVs connected with DisplayPort or HDMI.

How do I rollback macOS?

Their implementation is completely fucked, everytime my computer wakes up it changes the picture profile of my monitor to something awful even though I have **disabled** HDR in macOS settings!!

Found a fix! I changed the DisplayPort version of my monitor from 1.4 to 1.2. No more HDR.

@angristan Can you disable it through the display's own settings?

@shadowfacts nope, it removes a bunch of picture profiles will revert back to a specific one anyway. it's a shitshow

@angristan oh i had lots of troubles with DP1.4 on my old GPU. With DP1.2 too but to a lesser extent.
