@angristan Although NVIDIA is not my favourite company, this could actually be good for competition especially when considering CPU+GPU combos. AMD can do it after acquiring ATI, Intel have plans with Xe graphics, Apple are trying the same... Plus, NV and Apple put a competitor out there that is non-x86.

I know you're joking, but. 😀

As I understand it, ARM doesn't manufacture processors, they develop designs and license them to chip makers. AFAIK Apple designs its SOCs, and TSMC manufactures them. I doubt the Nvidia deal would change this.
