Update: my wife bought me a spare dongle for $10, so that’s good, and I borrowed a 2TB drive from the office, and am now in the process of backing everything up to it before wiping the failing partition and copying everything back over.
This time I’m going to use APFS (*ding*) instead of HFS+.

Not a great day for Apple hardware in my house. First I lost the dongle so I had to use the painful earbuds on my commute, then, when moving my Mac Mini, it decided to stop booting because face fails with a “Disk full error” every time. Smart status says the drive is fine, so it seems like it’s just HFS+ falling over, but wow, did I not need this. 🙄🙁
Regarding that FURBY.ASM source code, I, uh
(by which I mean, boosts and pull requests gratefully accepted)
In retrospect I should have added a “yet” to that. Empathy and communication skills can (and should) be learned!
