Bonus points! I finished the first chapter of my long-overdue next novel. It'll be a shortish young-adult fiction number, and it was a blast plotting it. It will be ready by the end of the year. The best thing is, it's under contract, and it's supposed to be genre fiction. I couldn't have been happier to try and play around with some ideas I've had lately.

I am slowly getting the hang of my renewed life dedicated to not worrying too much what's the latest on Everywhere. Active blogs of friends and fascinating random strangers help a lot. The key was to limit all possible notifications to a bare minimum and to reach out only for the information that interests me at the moment.
