@paradroyd I ran a FidoNET BBS on my Amiga 4000 for several years. The BBS software was DLG Pro, and the FidoNET node was running on TrapDoor.


@paradroyd I was also using that same Amiga for coding while users were logging in all daylong, sometimes resulting in a guru meditation with consequent loss of the user sessions.

Good times, I learnt a lot of sysadmin and networking skills from AmigaOS.

@codewiz Same here. It definitely gave me a head start into FreeBSD Unix, and later into Linux.
