In , I often hear あいつ (aitsu = that guy) or こいつ (koitsu = this guy, you).


The kanji for いつ is 奴, which contains 女, but oddly 奴 is used only when referring to guys... かな? :blob_confused:

Originally, 奴 meant "slave" or "servant" (both male or female), the the meaning "guy" as derogatory for "person" is a later derived meaning.
