Japan has the highest number of hospital beds per capita in the world, but when we look at Intensive Care Units, the United States and Germany are at the top with 34.7 and 29.2 ICUs ever 100k inhabitants, while Japan sinks to 22nd place with just 7.3 ICUs per 100k inhabitants.
