Let's go climb a volcano today!
Because, why not?

@jeeves The sign shows two elderly people smiling as they climb... I fall into the trap and go on...

@jeeves sorry for the terminology, I'm not that much into rocks ๐Ÿ˜…

I met a couple of hikers also from Tokyo.

With my basic Japanese conversation skills, I learnt that they had visited Firenze, Rome, Naples and even Sicily, where they saw Mt. Etna (an active volcano).

@codewiz This picture is GREAT! A day to remember for the rest of your life! ๐Ÿ˜„

@almn76 Truth is, this guy I met on top must have had a PhD in smartphone photography and selfieology: he took *dozens* of shots of me in various poses, varying the zoom level and even jumping on different rocks to change the viewpoint!

Here is my trash after selecting the best shots to keep ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

@codewiz Nice that you met someone there, "on top of the world", to take some nice photos. Hope that you had a nice chat with him too. There are moments in life to enjoy it by yourself, but sometimes it's nice to meet someone with the same idea (climbing the volcan) and share the moment together. ๐Ÿ˜„

@codewiz And now you should listen to the Carpenters - Top of the world ๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ˜†
