I got one in Italy, 2011. It involved an authenticated picture (to be authenticated at town hall), 2 different payments performed at the post office, a queue in an office 40 km away from my home town.
And a month of wait.
I got one in Germany, 2017. 40 minutes including taking the picture and paying, in one office. I walked out with the document.
Denied 😓
Due to covid19, they can't issue Thai Driver's licenses until March.
