...it didn't work out of the box on #ArchLinux
I mean, the desktop renders, but it's using llvmpipe (software) compositing. Happens with both #Wayland and X11, both #KDE and #Sway.
Why? I couldn't figure from dmesg nor the journal...
Ok, I booted a #Fedora #Rawhide live image, which has a pre-release kernel 6.2, and amdgpu acceleration works just fine out of the box.
Take that, #ArchLinux!
No problem, I'll just get the linux-git package from #aur...
