I heard at AmiWest that development of #AmigaOS 3.3 is quietly continuing, but it's unlikely that new releases will happen while there's legal uncertainty on the fate of Hyperion.
@codewiz why it's still not open source is just beyond me, the devs aren't getting paid anyway, it can barely keep this company afloat, it's just a mess.
And who knows what will happen to amigaos once hyperion goes bankrupt.
@dirkdierickx Indeed. Lots of new Amiga-related projects are derived from the AROS codebase, but somehow AROS itself never managed to replace the proginal AmigaOS.
@codewiz the A600GS has a workbench mode that runs on aros. And the 'custom' vampire os is also aros based. But yeah, underapreciated project.
