The promo video is worth watching, even if you're not a #KDE user.
It's a great example of a community project getting marketing right. We can't just be writing code and hope that users will find out on their own...
Another #KDE #Plasma bugfix release:

Now waiting for the updates in #ArchLinux and #Fedora updates... 💀
If you're a happy #KDE user, please contribute some of your free time to help with bug triaging. And especially if you're an unhappy user... you might wanna help yourself! 😉

I would argue that software quality has 3 foundations: good code reviews, testing, and... yeah... when everything else fails, bug triaging too!
#KDE #Plasma desktop 5.22 will be released next week:

If you're technical enough to file good bug reports, install the beta this weekend and help us catch any remaining issues!

Remember when #Kdenlive was an unpolished, crash-prone, barely usable video editor?
I'm genuinely amazed by how far it has come:

The #KDE folks have gotten really good at making promo videos! 🤩

"Have a look at https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved to discover ways to be part of a project that really matters. Each contributor makes a huge difference in KDE; you are not a number or a cog in a machine! You don’t have to already be a programmer, either. I wasn’t when I got started. Try it, you’ll like it! We don’t bite!"

Finally updated #Fedora 33 on my laptop to #KDE #Plasma 5.21.1

This week in KDE: KWin gains direct scan-out, and Gwenview gets a lot of love

Impressive number of improvements, I can't wait to upgrade my laptop to 5.21 (on my desktop I'm already using KDE built from git head so I can help with testing).

#KDE's "first class support for Wayland" is quite underwhelming: the session crashed within the first 5 minutes of testing, and then I realized that I couldn't even logout because the logout function doesn't work. I can kill kwin with ctrl-alt-backspace, but it restarts!
Well, I guess I could start reporting bugs instead of bitching here... 😒
