some years ago i couldn't tell you what was it that discriminated people in the classrooms, perhaps just the people, but today i was proved very, very wrong.

we finished over the course of two days and affective-sexual talk, the usual, given by a social sec talk-giver, and she took every opportunity she could to underrepresent minorities.

i could start by the slight: she referred to gay people as "the homosexuals", and constantly paired men and women only in examples.

this could be the typical "wiring" someone old does, it's kind of forgivable.

now the moment comes when she says that sexuality is something inherent, necessary, mandatory and important in every person's life, and that it's always paired with affection, considering other relationships kind of inmature.

imagine being just 15, confused about your sexuality, because you don't feel attraction at all, and you get told in your school that you're wrong.

imagine that you're asexual, very insecure, your family ignores it because they think it's not real but you're really not feeling anything at all.

and this lady just comes and tells you that you do have a problem, that you're the odd one, that your hormones might be fucked up and that you should get checked by a doctor.

this person giving the talk claimed that men knew nothing about orgasm in women, or just very little, that men and "the homosexuals" only get orgasms by frictioning their dicks, how ironic huh. "i dont know if men can get orgasms by anal intercourse".

perhaps it's you who isn't educated

now she regarded relationships as, you guessed right: a binary. only two people, saying why not three is being immature and picky with her. all sexual intercourse has to happen in intimacy and between too people.

poly people must be *so* happy. i certainly am.

i don't want to talk about myself in here but yeah i don't get the binary (aSpIE¿¿¿) and don't understand that model at all, call me poly i guess, but i'm certain that more people will be confused with this.

luckily, i'm very secure, proud and honest about my identity, about who i am. i have firm beliefs in how gender constraints us (am nb indeed), i like men (you could call me gay), i'm all for 3+ relationships (poly). and that's nice! i got myself sorted out, i suffered but i survived.

other people did not.

other people feel this and get told that they're weird and that they should conform and then society destroys them.

this wasn't opinion talk, this was affective-sexual education, but she even blamed the Koram for "teaching them to treat their women like that", two muslim girls called her out on it.

she even took the courage to tell one of them at the end of the class "don't cover your hair because you're beautiful".

UGH, IT'S THEIR DECISION. THEY WILL WEAR IT IF THEY WANT. if they do, that's fine, if they don't that's fine too.

she just can't go "i'm a liberal feminist egalitarian who calls things by its name and is very open ^-^" and simultaneously reject the girl's right to wear what she want and oppress minorities like she does.

this happens in our education system and this has to change.

end rant?
