Biden’s remark that African Americans who vote for President Trump “ain’t black” quickly overshadowed the rest of his interview, ricocheting across social media, drawing fire from black Democrats and culminating with the candidate rushing to repair the damage.

@deutrino They're that desperate to maintain the status quo, I guess.

@faoluin the donor class backing Biden don't actually give a shit if he loses to Trump. both are pro-kleptocracy. that's what matters to the 1%.

uspol, malarkey

@faoluin most of the 1% don't give a shit about the social issues, etc, because they don't *have* to give a shit, because they're rich. laws, courts, etc... all those are for poor people.

I wish this were better explained than "both parties are the same!!1" which, yes, but until one realizes that rich people don't have to care about civil liberties or government malfeasance or structural injustice, it's hard to see that.

@deutrino I think it's a sliding scale. The wealthier you are the less it actually means to you because the more ability you have to skirt the laws.

uspol, malarkey

@faoluin true. there's wealthy and then there's Wealthy. people who make Epstein look like a pipsqueak.
