covid vax guilt, lack of understanding of the guilt-prone

ok look I know I have problems but

I am soooo glad to not have whatever quirk is had by the people who are "waiting" to get vaccinated when eligible because they don't think they "should" be eligible and thus feel intense guilt if they were to get vaccinated

I have never and will never understand that type of mentality and quite honestly I'm glad, it seems like a horrible way to live.

it's like a more pathological version of people too guilty to get food stamps because they don't "really" "need" the help

@deutrino Speaking personally, I *do* think there were still plenty of people who needed the vaccine more than me when registration opened up. For that reason, I wouldn't have minded if I'd had to wait longer still before getting in. But when registration opened and I found an open time slot, I didn't hesitate. I wanted to contribute to herd immunity, and waiting around can also hamper distribution logistics.
