Seems concerning that all it takes to mess up the MFT of a NTFS drive on Windows 10 is accessing a crafted path, and that doing so doesn't even require user intervention

I'd be interested to test it in a VM or on some older Windows versions but I really hope this gets fixed soon. (or I could just bite the bullet and switch to a Linux distro, that works too lol)

Granted, it's not "destructive" and shouldn't be a huge issue as long as you're not purposefully triggering it - worst that seems to happen is a chkdsk scan when you reboot

Don't believe everything you hear on the internet, I guess
