decided to give qutebrowser a try and I honestly really like it, it's fast, has a clean ui, and navigating with a keyboard is surprisinly intuitive and efficient on most sites, despite the fact I've never used vim or anything similar

of course right after i type this, opening mastodon starts crashing qutebrowser
i should probably sleep
turns out this is a known issue with Qt on Windows and you can fix it pretty easily by deleting the %appdata%\qutebrowser\data\webengine\Service Worker directory
