just pour millions of money into education.
i actually think porn in the context of pornographic industry as it is today is very harmful.
the thing is that issues connected with porn are not so black and white as saying if there's consent it's ok.
when there is consent on video it doesn't mean that there's no exploitation and a different power hierarchy at play here.
as one somewhere said: 'i'm against sex work, but will always fight for sex workers' rights '.
@espectalll well, @one raised multiple points and i thought it was relevant to discuss them? Especially that perhaps the idea behind porn ban is to protect harmful effects that porn has on children, adults and society. I wanted to debate these effects, not the particular law (which I actually know nothing about).
I wanted to respond with the fact that porn is extremely sexist (goes back to cuming on women's faces) and it's there's a lot of complexity there.
Also, rereading the original thread I have a slight feeling I chimed in with a slightly different point.
Your original point was anger against policing human behaviour, and to quite an extent I agree with you here. And it's surprising that someone who you describe as of anarchist (therefore anti-authoritarian bent) is in favour of laws.
So apologies for perhaps adding irrelevant points to original rant.
@luka @one oh, so yeah, it's a matter on how it influences people, which is indeed relevant to the thread... yeah, education is always positive, and certainly being educated by porn + whatever you think from it is not the best idea - it's indeed a lot like TV or whatever social trend is ongoing. Which doesn't mean either than you can't/shouldn't want to get cum on your throat or viceversa
I think at the core of issue of pornography (mainly video content) vs actual real life situations is (for me at least) the question of personal boundaries and respect of them. Regardless of your fetish (and this area is wide and wild), what matters is comunication and awarenes of boundaries (right to them, ability to set them, respect of). It's what's lacking in most of pornographic content but is crucial part to any sexual practice.
@wowaname ...you're still not getting it, it's not about that specifically
@wowaname can you please be rational, read properly, and wait for anyone else to explain their points, please?
@wowaname I am, please give me time
@wowaname but you're replying three messages at once, throwing insults and not even waiting!
@wowaname if you're feeling attacked I'm sorry I guess, but it's about what people think is OK to do or not, whenever people feel people are legitimized to feel superior to others and treat others against their will and in humiliating/harmful ways
