Common Dandelion - Gathan-gobhainn - Taraxacum officinale
The dandelion can be a nuisance weed and is very difficult to remove due to the taproot. Removing the top of the plant often isn't enough, it can regenerate from the taproot.
However, the dandelion flowers are a useful food for bees & butterflies. Siskins feed on the blowball seeds.
