Not that emailing can be any more effective.

Regardless of the method of communication, you, the customer, feel like an eejit, as you have to 'phone/email again to ask: "did you get my message?"

You order something based on the online photo, which looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger. When the package arrives in the post, you open it, and find Danny DeVito inside.

I've found that complaining on Twitter can sometimes get a response.

I've got one just for complaining, mostly to Edinburgh council. It works, I've had them emptying bins and fixing lights.
