Investigations are on-going into why a company owned by pole-dancing ex-model Jennifer Arcuri received £100,000 in public funds, after she became close friends with Boris Johnson while he was London Mayor.

Ms Arcuri explained that BoJo's frequent visits to her flat during office hours was for technology lessons. Questions also raised about a reception she held in Westminster, which was facilitated by one of the PM's political allies.

I must say is providing great entertainment value.

Make of this what you will. Allegedly:

"The key scandal here is not his sexual relationship with Arcuri.
It’s Boris."

I had a choice of several photos, but I know BoJo loves Union Flags, so I chose that one.

I should think so. Probably not done intentionally. I understand Ms Arcuri is from the US.

If it's a euphemism, it is not one I've heard before.

Some great pun potential in this story. I'm finding it difficult to resist .

@fitheach To be blunt, anyone reading that story assumes they had sex.
From there it isn't difficult to wonder just how often in order to derive the price per visit based on one hundred thousand GBP.
Wow. Even a rabbit-like devotion to the enterprise would still leave each visit costing a lot of taxpayer money.

"You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment." As Francis Urquhart often said.

I could imagine his wife would've found the "technology lessons" excuse hard to believe.

@fitheach the money provided needs looking into but the Milo angle, meh. Would be harder to find tech events around that time that he didn't attend. He got where water couldn't.
