I do, thanks. There's a reason for the aesthetic being similar. A small number of artists dominated the market for all kinds of posters, at the time. One of the foremost artists for the EMB was Charles Pears, who also did many transport related posters, particularly maritime. The attached image combines ships & trains, and is exactly the same style.

@fitheach That explains the similarity then. He must have been extremely prolific.


It was over a long period of time, a few decades. The high profile poster artists made an OK living out of the activity, but I think they did have to churn them out. Pears also did "proper" painting.
