I've had a Christmas tradition of making Veg Medley (turnip, carrot & parsnip, cooked in fat) for 20+ years. I'm a bit late this year (should have been 10 days ago, obviously), but I'd over-bought other veg.
Now that I've started cooking it, the smell is making me really hungry.

@fitheach you're not late, you're early this year. As for the last year, i guess you can say toot had it, but all the ingredients were distributed throughout the year :)

Perhaps I should have said festive period tradition. Almost finished eating it, one more meal, to-morrow.
@fitheach should be Orthodox Xmas any day now.
