@fitheach Aye, I sat through the original at one point. The plot was mildly amusing at best, but it was interesting to watch nonetheless, playing in old Las Vegas, which was on a wholly different (smaller) scale than current Vegas.
Part of the plot was about a garbage truck and it struck me as amusing that a single garbage truck could collect all of Las Vegas' garbage. That is just completely unthinkable now.
Humanity was much smaller then!
It's been a long time since I saw the 1960 movie. I don't remember much about the garbage truck. However, 1960 was before the plastic era really got going.
