If the 3D print works out, should I publish it on Thingiverse? or did I hear there was a more freedom-loving alternative?

@sjb I used to run a @mediagoblin instance - similar to Flickr, but supports a wider variety of media.

For photos there's now @PixelFed which does that but on the . If it supported 3D objects, I'd be a happy man.

I *could* just put the files up on my personal website, but without putting them in some kind of public index it's unlikely anyone will ever find them.
