So last week I spent most of it trying to recover my files that I lost when my computer took a dive after a Linux update. Lost my Windows partition as well. This week will be about reinstalling important software and tweaking the system. Also need to start getting productive again and do the many things I have planned before summer ends. Hopefully your Monday is going well!

I was able to set up my laptop to at least a useable state. I reinstalled Manjaro and the GRUB boot loader is working again. Windows is still not working though. I really hope this isn't a failure of the windows system because I have a bunch or files in it still. Linux can recognise the windows drive so it is technically there, just doesn't seem to be accessible.

My laptop took a stunning dive for the worst today, after my installation of Manjaro yesterday. Grub isn't loading so no access to either Windows or Linux on my dual boot system. Windows recovery USB isn't fixing the start up issue either.

I'm really liking the Manjaro installer. Finally getting it installed. The USB mounting took way too long. I probably didn't need to but I had the Rufus mounting application go through 2 different passes for checking of any bad sectors. Almost there!

Battle of the Bastards is one of the most epic episodes of any show, ever. It's a masterpiece on so many levels.

Going through a couple of episode of Game of Thrones before tonight.

Manjaro isn't starting after a recent update. Now I'm in the process of reinstalling it after deleting its drive. Looks like it's going to be the main project of the day for me.

I am feeling so inspired to get stuff done when I go home after work today. So much potential in today still!

That frustration when older AutoCAD files don't transfer well into Revit.

Anyone know of a good web browser? I've used Chrome and Edge (don't laugh) for the last little while. Obviously speed is important. I'm going to phase out Edge and considering doing the same with Chrome. Is Chrome still the standard or is there something better out there?

I love how tech friendly this place is. I love reading things that make no sense to me because it reminds me of how much potential there is still to learn. An infinite amount of knowledge that I won't be able to get to. This goes for all fields other than technology as well. Thank you to the world for keeping me thinking and interested in all that it is involved in.

I can't wait to open up my new Nintendo Switch tomorrow, and also go through my pictures from a recent trip. It should be a fun time. Until then, goodnight world.

Hello everyone,

I am very interested by this new way of communication. I am into architecture, design, photography, gaming, and soccer.

I am still a student in the field of architecture but have just recently gotten an internship in the field. It's been a great experience so far.

I enjoy learning new things. These days, I'm teaching myself 3ds max and the linux system and all its intricacies as well as things like digital painting.

Don't hesitate to get in touch!
