i filtered out every language except english, polish, russian and ukrainian and the federated timeline still shows posts in german and french - i suppose those users have mastodon set to english, and only toot in other languages. now i'm scared i'm missing out on english toots tooted by people using mastodon in their language. fuck. back to not filtering anything 😩

when i was a kid i had the sims, and this being europe it had french and german on the packaging
