Offering code of conduct assistance

I’m thinking about offering a flat-rate code of conduct consultation again. I’d spend about an hour to read your policies and create a report with my recommendations, and a 30 min call to discuss. Any open source projects or user groups who might be interested?

@audrey Why is a "code of conduct" needed? If people are behaving unethically, don't accept their pull request? 🤔

@marknoble @audrey Codes of Conduct are like contracts. You make contracts before there's trouble so that when things *do* go wrong there's clearly defined rules and actions to take. Without them, it's ridiculously for things to spiral out of control.

@ThatTupperKid I just don't find that I require contracts for interactions with groups of people - especially places I visit voluntarily. If I like them, and they find that I am civil, we interact. If not, we part ways. Contracts should be bi-directional. CoC at conferences seems more like an aimless and arbitrary threats. That's crazy behavior from individuals, no?
