An open letter in support of Richard Stallman, already signed by dozens of developers: rms-support-letter.github.io/

@nuclear Is there a hidden agenda to organize that open letter through a Microsoft service? I hate to bring this up all the time. People get on with it Github was bought by Microsoft. Why are you not leaving m( …

@mray Github allows the letter to have a huge reach while allowing users to sign using only free software.

@nuclear It also asks people to open an account with Microsoft, and me not doing that can't sign.

@mray As far as I know, you can sign up using a regular email

@nuclear Sorry, I don't even buy into the concept of sin. :awesome:

@nuclear if it wasn't github... I support RMS, but I don't support github.

@iron_bug @nuclear It's basically a response to toot.cat/@ehashman/10594048724 who also made this poor choice.

Now it's a battle of GitHub users arguing about who should lead Free Software Foundation.

@wire @nuclear but open source developers in mass tend to not use github.
