What tools do you use for writing #interactivefiction? Is #Inform the most popular tool?
@brunodias @johnayliff @orbifx it all comes down to what you are trying to accomplish, you know?
@ajroach42 @brunodias @johnayliff yes. I tried Inform a bit in the past, but haven't gone into it yet. So for now, exploring the options.
@orbifx @ajroach42 @brunodias I'm using Twine exclusively. If I wanted to write parser-based IF I'd use Inform.
@brunodias @johnayliff @ajroach42 Twine looks good.
@orbifx @brunodias @johnayliff I am using twine. I have dabbled with inkle. I did a lot of tinkering in inform, but never finished anything.
@orbifx @johnayliff @ajroach42 Twine is by far the most popular tool for writing IF, and by sheer number of devs probably the most popular game-making tool of all time. But Inform 7 is the best tool for writing parser games.
