Watching #BRASUI on my 12 year old Thinkpad X60, just for fun. It runs Libreboot and Debian Sid and handles it perfectly - the HD stream causes only ~30% CPU load.
It's really not necessary to buy new hardware all the time. May this be a reminder :)
@resist_berlin I'm thinking about replacing my 7 years old $600 MSI laptop. Running Android Studio on it surely is hell, although with 8 GB of RAM it kind of works... :-)
