I'm happy to introduce our new ultra-low tech CMS for smol, accessible websites. The goal was to make something that could be self-hosted, but friendly enough for people who don't SFTP or use a terminal. 3 PHP files, Apache, and Gemtext. Should work on any dumb old Apache host; a technical person could manage many of these for friends and family with zero maintenance. Happy to answer any questions or take bug reports.

Twitter isn't useful due to the quality of discourse contained, but on the contrary because it functions as a huge distraction from useful, constructive discourse about the predominant social conditions in society, for many millions of people globally.

All fibers shed, but synthetic fibers do not degrade. From "The contribution of washing processes of synthetic clothes to microplastic pollution" published April 2019:

"Results showed that microfibres released during washing range from 124 to 308 mg for kg of washed fabric depending from the type of washed garment that corresponds to a number of microfibres ranging from 640,000 to 1,500,000."

It goes on to note, the resulting size of microplastic released is small enough to bypass filters!

Is free trade a liberal or a conservative policy? Is it conservative to support the French Revolution? What about the American Revolution? Is prohibition or decriminalisation of intoxicants (marijuana, alcohol) progressive? Is punching your political enemies fascist or anti-fascist? Is it conservative or liberal to support speech codes? Do communists support trade unions? Do fascists support capitalism?

The truth or falsity of these propositions depends on our definition of terms.
