So I installed #Antergos over #Ubuntu cuz Ubuntu hates sound and is a CPU hog, etc. etc.
However, see pic. This happens on any display mode switch (sleep, change login, etc.) and effectively breaks my system. I looked it up, and it seems like this bug plagues the #linux kernel since 2 years ago at least...
I really do not want to go back to Ubuntu ๐

@shellkr I am using included i915 on an older Toshiba Satellite. It breaks when: I logout, it sleeps, when I change to virtual terminal. Essentially any mode change.
Most of my problems trying to troubleshoot it involve knowing whether my boot param syntax is actually working. The video=SVIDEO-1:d trick didn't work, but under /dev/class/ I have different hardware, so...
