A ton of information on this coronavirus dashboard from Johns Hopkins.

Most interestingly, it looks like new cases are substantially tapering off? Or could that be an artifact of something like delayed reporting?

For context, that's due to a change in the reporting criteria [ channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/ ]: "Health officials in the province, the epicentre of the epidemic, said they had started including people diagnosed using the new methods from Thursday. Excluding cases confirmed using the new methods, the number of new cases rose by only 1,508, the official data showed."

I think this screen shot shows the effect the change in criteria had on the numbers. Let's see what the trends are in the next few days.

@sohkamyung @tsturm Yeah, all the trending information is out the window if they change measurements in the middle (but to my layperson eye, the new detection procedure you linked yesterday feels like a good compromise.) The "Other locations" line on the Johns Hopkins chart is still pretty linear.

We'll all wait and see…
