in a garden. Not much of woodworking but it serves its purpose.

I salvaged a beech (?) board from a pallette yesterday. For free, yay!

A little bit of filing (diamond files) and it cuts ok.

Not fancy at all. But übercheap and it was the only rip saw on the shelf.

Will it work? A tap for threading holes in wood: ⌀30mm, 15mm pitch. 6° included angle taper, 90° thread angle. Rather than turning it on a lathe I'd like to make it from a piece of 1-2mm steel and put it in a wooden reamer.

A simple garden table from Ikea (Askholmen) sanded and painted with linseed oil (from an art store).
