"This collaboration was: *the first time I made music with someone I've never met (from a timezone far far away) *the first time I played more than 3 chords on a guitar *in fact, the first time I finished a song in years!"
- @arnaudj about working with @hairylarry on "We Danced In A Dream", the song they created together for the second round of our #MusicCollab project.

To me, the song sounds like strolling through a warm summer night :)

Managed to delete the boot partition while experimenting in an amateurish way with new Linux distros on my Lenovo laptop and am stuck.

I've switched back to using my old MPB and I might stick with it for now.

"Do one thing at a time."

One of the best pieces of clown wisdom I ever received.

Hang in there, and remember your path my look unexpected. That doesn't make it somehow wrong or lesser.

A good mate of mine runs this label for experimental music.

He's just released this compilation for £2.

AFAIK, the rest if his catalogue is available on a pay-what-you-want basis.

Any suggestions for a lighter than Mint, but still noob-friendly Linux distro that will run well with 4gb RAM & 1.60GHz 2 core CPU?

So this is where
you say the words go
to rest.

We unwind
the time for

break loose
from the lines,

put the poems back
into the pocket
for another

The flow is

The writing, merely
the temporary act of
capturing the

Finally got around to scanning some of my old sketches. They are worked in draughting pen and ink, and odd ones have a bit of watercolour wash added.
Here's a few:

So, if you have any experience using a #palmpilot on a modern OS, I'd love to hear about how you've done it, and to know what software you use.

So, if you stumble across this, let me know or something.

Just finished watching the movie / documentary "Derrida".

Highly recommended if you're into .

It also has a great soundtrack by Ryuichi Sakamoto.

That was a bit of a wash-out. (Bad pun intended.)

Only 2 lanes open as Charity Gala was underway.

Still, musn't grumble - we got a couple of lengths in and are now compensating for all that exercise with a Krispy Kreme doughnut each, and hot Cocoa.

It's pretty cold out, but I'm dutifully taking my youngest son swimming now.

In other news, it's pretty cold out and .....

We just released our new collaborative #music album, "Everything Is Made Of Smaller Parts"!

16 of us musicians on Mastodon banded together to create music in randomly assigned pairs and the results are beautiful and span many genres.

You can listen and download the 11 songs for free - if you decide to pay, the money is split between the artists, one share goes to Mastodon development.

I hope you enjoy the music and have a fabulous Sunday!
