The most frustrating and disappointing feeling when dealing with software isn't when it's not working, it's when it *tells you* it's working but it's not.

I mean seriously, nothing feels worse than seeing a progress bar or loading spinner or something, that tells you "don't worry, it'll be done soon!" but you just know that it's not.

@vurpo Oh, thank you for this comment. I was always sure that the horizontal progress bar encourages developers to make a time estimate, and even it was wrong, users appreciate it more than an obnoxiously well-looking app with poor development.
