I was wondering why the US wasn't doing anything against these EU 'fines', which are mostly about extracting money from successful US companies to pump it into whatever boondoggle the EU wants to use it for. (Although I suspect in this case it's about the Irish taxes they are supposed to pay, but that's not material. Ireland said Apple doesn't have to pay it, Apple says they don't have to pay it, but there's someone you forgot to ask)
