Ok, inked the little (head is 1cm high) dude outline. Do you have any guesses who this is? He's the main character but not in my illustration.

Here's a part of the wing. At this point it should be obvious who this is all about when you already know who the little man visible here is.
Today I'm going to work on background. Still unsure how to handle it. That's one of the reasons why it goes slow.

Here's another angle of the same are. At this point Bilbo is in shadow already but the rest is as you see.
This was a long journey but I think inking process is finished now. Can you believe first time I started sketching my ideas was April last year? I then had to make a break and started to sketch again new ideas in the Autumn.
