Buying the StarFighter definitely wouldn't be the smart decision. It's very expensive, it's basically a pre-order of a product that's already had its shipping date delayed, it's the first gen/batch of that laptop series so hardware bugs may be present, and my current laptop has 11th gen Intel so it's not that old.

Why would you want a 16" laptop?
The furthest you can take it from your desk is your couch. Anything further and it becomes cumbersome and awkward to carry.
@wolf480pl toting a 16" laptop around definitely isn't a problem, i own a 2019 macbook pro 16" which is even heavier as well.
but i barely leave my house anyways, especially now that i'm on sick leave my laptops get wholly underutilized
